About
About Synergy Portal
An informational reference about battle collection RPGs, written for readers in Australia and published by a company that earns money when readers follow one of its paid links. Both halves of that sentence are true, and this page explains how the second is kept from quietly determining the first.
Who publishes this
Synergy Portal is published by Ergonomix CZ s.r.o., a company registered in the Czech Republic at Křižíkova 180/28, Karlín, 186 00 Praha 8, Czech Republic, with company number 22146504 and VAT number CZ22146504. Correspondence goes to info@synergyportal.online, which is the only contact channel the site operates.
There is no newsroom here, and this page will not introduce a team of experts, because there is not one to introduce. Pages are written and maintained by the publisher. Where authorship is attributed at all, it is attributed to Ergonomix CZ s.r.o. and nothing further — no bylines, no personas, no photographs, no job titles. A site of this size that presented a masthead would be inventing one.
Why it exists
The commercial basis is straightforward. Ergonomix CZ s.r.o. participates in an affiliate programme through an advertising network. When a reader follows a link marked as paid, registers and installs the game at the other end, the network pays a commission. Raid: Shadow Legends is the one title with which that arrangement exists, and it is the title covered at entry length on this site.
That arrangement is the reason the site was built, and saying so is more useful than a claim of disinterested curiosity that no reader would have grounds to believe. What follows from stating it is a set of constraints on what the site may then do, set out below and applied to every page. The affiliate disclosure page covers the arrangement in detail, including what the commission does not affect.
How coverage is decided
Editorial method
Scope is narrow, and stated. Coverage of specific products is limited to the one title the publisher has a commercial relationship with. The site does not survey the category, does not maintain a shortlist, and does not rank titles against one another. A site with one commercial relationship that presented itself as a broad comparison service would be misrepresenting what it is.
Most of the site is not about any product. The glossary, the genre structure page, the randomised rewards page, the desktop page, the account security page and the spending page describe the category and the Australian framework around it. They contain no product claims and would stand unchanged if the commercial arrangement ended tomorrow.
Product statements come only from published material. Anything this site says about a named product comes from that product's own published description. Where the description is silent, the page says it is silent rather than filling the gap by inference, which is why the entry on Raid: Shadow Legends devotes more space to what its description omits than to what it contains.
Order is not for sale. Nothing on this site is positioned, promoted or arranged in return for payment beyond the disclosed commission arrangement itself. There is no second advertiser bidding for placement, and no sponsored sections.
What counts as a source
Three categories of statement appear on this site, and each has its own rule.
- Statements about a named product
- Sourced to that product's published description. Quoted where the wording is promotional, so that a marketing claim is not mistaken for a finding.
- Statements about the genre
- Written as general guidance about how titles in the category are commonly built. These describe a pattern, not any particular product, and pages say so where the distinction matters.
- Statements about Australian law, regulators or public bodies
- Linked to that body's own website, described only in terms of the role it publicly holds. Where a precise legal position would be needed, the page directs readers to the body rather than summarising it.
What this site will not do
- No test results, benchmarks, scores or tier lists are published here. No testing is performed, and presenting any would be fabrication.
- No reviews, no testimonials and no quotes attributed to players, named or otherwise, appear anywhere on this site.
- This site never describes itself as official, authorised or endorsed by any game publisher, because it is none of those things.
- No personal information is collected: no form, no newsletter, no account and no tracking anywhere on the site, as the privacy policy and cookie policy describe in detail.
- No paid link ever appears without a line beside it saying that it is paid.
- This site never states that a game with purchasable randomised rewards is suitable for a younger player. That question belongs to the Australian Classification Board and to a parent, not to a site funded by an advertising commission.
Corrections
If something on this site is wrong — a definition, a description of a regulator's role, a broken link, or a product statement that does not match the published description it claims to come from — write to info@synergyportal.online and say which page and which sentence. Corrections are made to the page itself and the review date at the foot of every page is updated when they are.
The same address handles any other enquiry, including a request about personal information under the privacy policy. The contact page sets out what the publisher can and cannot help with, which matters mainly because this site cannot act on a game account, a purchase or a support request — only the vendor can.
